According to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau, Chrysler vehicles are among the most targeted vehicles for catalytic converter thefts. The study found that, in 2019, Chrysler vehicles accounted for the second highest number of catalytic converter thefts, with over 1,000 thefts reported. This number increased to over 1,500 in 2020, making Chrysler the most targeted vehicle for catalytic converter thefts.

The report also found that the most commonly stolen catalytic converter parts from Chrysler vehicles were the Dodge Caravan, Dodge Grand Caravan, and Chrysler Town & Country. The Dodge Charger, Dodge Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee were also frequently targeted.

It is worth noting that the number of catalytic converter thefts from Chrysler vehicles has been steadily increasing. In 2019, Chrysler vehicles accounted for only 6.1% of all catalytic converter thefts, but in 2020, this number increased to 9.7%. As such, it is important for Chrysler owners to be aware of the risks and take appropriate measures to protect their vehicles from theft.
